You might think it's attitude, some might think it's talent.

Might be a combination of the two, but there's no denying we are fielding pretty much a reserve side at the moment.

Not to mention the leadership and experience that comes with those talent missing.

Where's Liam Haskett at? Had only played BBL this season
Playing Seconds this week so may snag a shield game before season ends. He must've had a serious injury, back fractures? as he was off the paddock for months and months. Looked underdone yesterday with little rythm. He is top of my list to replace Starc if they want a like for like.

Good day lads

Great stuff Rocco
Westend I have him as Lyons long term replacement if CA continue to go with an Offie as their preferred spin choice. Rocco has deceptive top spin, has shown he can take a match winning bucket of wickets and he is a mature age. A no brainer.

WAarriors with 100 lead and counting. Another 50 would make things very comfortable indeed.

Good to see the batting standing up at last. Need to get a 200-run lead and win this one quickly. Will keep the defence alive, and Green and Bancroft will be making appearances later too.
morning was good afternoon not so good with the stick...another mini batting collapse

currently Paris and Hilton in 7-265....need another 30 40 runs for me get it over 300 .....150 run lead

I like rocco in aussie conditions as he can get the bounce....murphy his rival for Lyons spot has more side spin and is quicker ..suited more for Indian pitches for me

but saying all that reckon Lyon will go to close to 40 years of age before he retires .the way he is going

Batting and he’s not particularly young, he’s 28. Not looking up to it at this stage.
Interesting. I misread that as 22. All the young talent coming through WA and we pick a 28 year old who bats at 7 and doesn't get much opportunity with the ball. Must've had one hell of a grade premier season.

Cartwright can get use over 150 in front,
He has held the side together so many times over the years. Is having yet another good season. As a batting all rounder, compare him to Henriques, about the Blues biggest dud for past decade. I'd have Carty over him every day of the week and on Sunday.

Been going ok in 2nd X1 too. But have to agree on backing youth over a 28 yr old. Kids are graduating from U17s every year with the best moving directly into Club seconds and even firsts, so surely there are 21/22 yr all rounders with 3/4 seasons of red ball PC under their belts just itching for a crack at shield cricket. Betting we could find three or four minimum by going thru current stats.

WArriors make short work of hornless Bulls to win major points. What chance now of a 4peat boys.

Blues also belted the Vics.

Handy those next 2 matches are against Vic and NSW, destiny is in their own hands for making the final.

Don't see anyone catching SA to host it though as they are likely going to win against Tassie
