Western Australian State Cricket Team: Treble Winners. Again

Catch 22 isn't it? Do you give them a chance of winning or bat 6 or so overs and try to bat them out of it? I favour the former

Pretty sure the first session is extended by 30 minutes due to time lost on the first day.

The pitch seems pretty flat.
I would bat for around an hour and then declare.
That's fair. 12 overs and then declaring gives you 10 overs under lights with the second new ball

Teams rarely like to leave themselves in a position to lose these days. Reckon they bat 20 or 30 overs if they can, still gives them 60-70 to bowl them out but pushes the lead out to 400. Personally, I'd try to add 50 in 10 overs and give them 350 to chase.
