No interview on our club’s website yet but I posted one he did with Mitch Clearly
Not to mention the rest of the midfield are all just as one paced, yet they’re saying they needed to move Kennedy on to solve that but who are they bringing in to make it quicker?Blues midfield isn’t exactly durable, brave to move him on when Cerra/Hewett are made of glass, Walsh has no back and Cripps still carrying them.
Also, they gave up this year's first and next year's 1st & 2nd to move up to 3 this year, so they have 1 realistic shot at a high quality mid in the next 2 drafts. Not to mention the rest of the midfield are all just as one paced, yet they’re saying they needed to move Kennedy on to solve that but who are they bringing in to make it quicker?
Their recent drafts have already been nothing special, no real youth at all coming through. Also, they gave up this year's first and next year's 1st & 2nd to move up to 3 this year, so they have 1 realistic shot at a high quality mid in the next 2 drafts.
Depth could take a big hit in the year or 2.
Agreed. His arms are long enough to make up another 0.2 seconds when chasing so he’s actually pretty quickI know getting older slows you down, I know we have been told he is on the slower side but when he was drafted, he ran a 3.13 second 20m sprint.
That's definitely not lighting, but it's okay.

They are betting on the Campo twins being great players, but both are going to be late picks so that is unlikely. Their list strategy has been bizarre to say the least.
We'd like to get games into Cooper Lord who's basically a younger Kennedy but a far better runner. Obviously not as good as this stage but the club has a lot of faith in him.Their recent drafts have already been nothing special, no real youth at all coming through.

Plus Elijah and Ollie Hollands who are looking for mid minutes.
Cowan expected to move up the ground too whether it be wing or on ball in coming years.
Then we have pick 3 this year, and we have a freak F/S coming in 2026 who's widely tipped to go at the very pointy end of the draft.
Kennedy is a very good player and imo will be a good addition as a Macrae replacement, but it was the right time for the Blues to move him on.
I wonder what he benches, impressive specimen.

Their 22 draft looks a lot better than ours at the moment with Hollands and Cowan.
I am not sold on Hollands, Cowan looks to be serviceable. Neither are major impact players.Their 22 draft looks a lot better than ours at the moment with Hollands and Cowan.
They’ve certainly got the rock 22 covered but they get cut to pieces when they run into the scissors 22.The paper 22. That's Carlton's problem for years, game is not played on paper.
