He'll stay at Strasbourg for another season or two.

I guess that shows how thick a few of their supporters are, they get more out of the marriage than we do. BlueCo has put more money into the club than anyone before them and has built a pretty exciting young team.

Have ever right to be not happy with this sale. Player would be worth much, much more in a few season's time if development continues as expected. This is simply Blueco using its position as common owner to get the player on the cheap. This deal would not happen if Blueco weren't owners.

They used their position to sell players from Chelsea to Strasbourg on the cheap too, plus the loaning of guys who would have been out of Strasbourgs reach too. Building a cracking young team for a really good manager.

It really is a more beneficial arrangement for the French than us. Done wonders for the place.

Lol, Andrei Santos is the only one that was useful. The rest are simply being offload by Chelsea for PSR requirements.

Let's not pretend here that Blueco isn't going to prioritise Chelsea over Strasbourg here.

We literally won the cup just before Blueco bought the place.

Haha ok mate.

Most pressing need we've got is in midfield, but nothing yet.

I think for this season we probably could have got by with any one of defenders we'll end up getting. But with Stones and Ake struggling to string games together though a rebuild is needed.

Marmoush looks to be the Alvarez replacement.

Without knowing much about any of the new players it's a nice refresh to the squad.

Why oh why don't Spurs just lob some cash at him? Our forwards are constantly injured.

Solanke has barely missed a game?

In fact barely any of your forwards are injured, it's all your defenders.

We've scored the 2nd most goals in the division and since December in draws and losses we've conceded 1, 1, 4, 1, 6, 1, 2, 2, 2 and 3 goals. A no.6 and a defender.

Looks like City will get away with the 115 charges with the spending spree like they're at Costco at the moment

It's admirable seeing Pep flex his managerial muscle and spend 100m to fix his problems.

have heard a few people suggest that if Pep was as good a manager as some think, spending to get out is what holds him back

More examples this may be truet this January

Do you expect us to just stop operations while we wait for a decision?

We need players in January and no-one is going to know about the case before then.

I don't know why there's this desperation to predict the outcome. All will be revealed soon enough.

that's a fair enough point of view as well

Pep can spend nothing, coach the existing squad as best he can and hope that opposition supporters will rate him as a manager.

Or he can spend money rebuilding the squad for the future and replace players that have left or are leaving and have opposition supporters downplay his success.

Hmmmm tough choice.
