Isn't that to Ipswich's benefit?Possibly but if he goes elsewhere it'll cost a lot more than £30m, so if that buyout is correct, I can't see us not taking it up.

Didn't Aston Villa do something similar with Cameron Archer? Sold him to Sheff Utd, bought him back for the same fee then sold him for more?Philogene shows why it'd be dumb to go back.
It's OK if it's in the same window I guess.Didn't Aston Villa do something similar with Cameron Archer? Sold him to Sheff Utd, bought him back for the same fee then sold him for more?
Ipswich would rather we leave him be and they'd have an asset worth well over the £30m wed buy him back for.Isn't that to Ipswich's benefit?
Didn't this happen with Porro? But we somehow convinced Sporting to loan us him with the option to buy to get around itPossibly but if he goes elsewhere it'll cost a lot more than £30m, so if that buyout is correct, I can't see us not taking it up.
From memory that was more about reducing the sell on we had with Sporting. Pay a bigger loan fee (not subject to sell on clause) and reduce the permanent fee (subject to sell on clause).Didn't this happen with Porro? He'll stay at Strasbourg for another season or two.Could be a gun this guy. Believe its a bit early for a PL move, should have spent another season at least in Ligue 1 before taking the plunge. If he develops as expected we then could have sold him for 40-50m with ease.
Unfortunately Blueco are fully aware of this and are pillaging Strasbourg as a result. There's a lot of fan discontent about this on the ground in Strasbourg over these sorts of deals which seem to be focused on the best result for Chelsea.
