is this bloke on our shopping list ?

Sydney and “a big Melbourne club” are among clubs circling out-of-contract Western Bulldogs midfielder Patrick Lipinski.

Industry sources said the Swans were keenly pursuing the player and had been due to meet his management this week. The Swans are not alone in their interest, with several clubs following his situation and sources believed that one of the big Melbourne clubs was very keen to secure him.

The Swans’ recruiting manager Simon Dalrymple was previously the recruiting boss at the Bulldogs and drafted Lipinski to the club with pick 28 in the 2016 national draft.
Would be crazy if he wasn’t considering the state of our wingers.

Could do worse than Ed Richards on a wing.
Would be a good get .
I mentioned him last week before he played his first game for the year.
The dogs obviously rate him because he broke his ankle in the pre season and only played 1 VFL game and was straight into the seniors.

North’s Giant play for Kelly; Freo ‘really comfortable’ with star’s talks: Trade Whispers

So Freo are comfortable with Cerra's situation. Which actually can mean a few different thing trade wise. We are mentioned as being a suitor, which is also confirmation of what Tiger71 has said. I guess he'll wait till the season is over before deciding. Hmm

I think the Bulldogs have a large amount of untapped depth from drafting mid after mid and they all can't get a go.

Its a bit like us picking small forward after small forward.

Looking at Ed's highlights he is a left footer to which we do not have enough of

You obviously haven’t been following him in the vfl over the past few years
He’s taken VFL mark of the year contenders getting massive hight in pack marks
I’m not interested in his (CCJ) VFL form, However, I do not think that form will translate to the seniors. He seems to be totally out of his depth and a lumbering type of player. I have watched reserves but believe he is not athletic enough for the top level. I’d be happy for the club to let him go for a decent pick in the draft. We are returning to second rate ruckman as a forward and it does not work. Also he is dead ordinary in the ruck.

He's played literally 5 AFL games. How many tall forwards burst on to the scene showing what they are capable of in their first few games?

Jack averaged 6.6 touches, 3.2 marks and 0 .9 in his first season of 8 games.
Next year he played 18 and averaged 10.8, 4.8 and 1.0.
Year after that he played 20 and averaged 12.9, 6.3 and 1.6.

He had almost most 50 games and 2.5 season of consistently playing AFL footy to break out.

Let’s have a look at the list of 200cm+, slow, unathletic tall forwards that are playing capable football?

Anyway,, he’s ****ing terrible tonight.

dimma has lost the players
simple as that
Na I don't think it's that.

I think with all the injuries the players are shot mentally. They're all thinking "it's not gonna be our year" and have thrown in the towel.

Cerra would've been handy delivering i50 the last 2 weeks.

We could get cerra, narkle and Ed Richards all of who would be best 22 and still take a good hand to the draft if we utilise a future first in the workings.

A first for cerra with some tweaking of later picks, a 2nd for Ed Richards, a 3rd for narkle. Then still take two 1sts, a 2nd and a 3rd to the draft.

Should have cap space after next season to take a good free agent to make up for the lack of a first round pick in 2022.

Cant go a full rebuild while we still have dustin martin at his peak for a couple more years. We can still contend for a few years yet. Needs to be a mixture of trading and drafting and then free agency once houli cotchin caddy riewoldt astbury have all moved on.

All good to go that way but do we have the guts to say to those guys that is it thank you for your service? The ones you mentioned only one I would keep for another year is Jack but even he is wearing thin on me does some stupid things now. When we were still in it along the boundary we had him and two others and he does a tap on without looking straight to their one player. He should also get on with the game as stop pestering with the umpires we have it bad enough with them why escalate it.
