Updated Picks As Of October 14th

Struggling to see the logic of not trading up to picks 2 or 3 given the amount of picks we have inside 25.

You simply cannot develop 8-9 kids from one draft properly. You need to be able to give these kids ample time and attention they need to flourish.

If 6 has to be involved, then so be it.

See if north or west coast accept 6 and 20 for pick 2 or 3.

Don’t have to win every trade. It’s more about coming out of the period with a closer picture of what you want

I would suspect come draft night with live pick trading, a team will come hard for one or more of our picks (because a player they rate very highly is still on the board) and they will offer a future first and we will take it. Hence we won’t draft 8 kids as u suggest.

It's funny watching posters in here one by one tap out and essentially say "just get it done I don't care anymore".

Trade period isn't for everyone. It goes for too long and it's a glorified staring contest for 95% of the duration.

Fans really struggle with it.

I think we will be holding off on Shai and Bakes until we do the Rioli trade. We know we are getting overs on that so gives more leverage that this is the "rate".

If we just sucked it up and did 10,18 for Bolton, both west coast and CGS would see that as a weakness and pounce reducing our leverage and their willingness to offer overs.

Reckon Rioli gets done Tuesday and Bolton, Baker Wednesday (min 1 of them 10mins before deadline so AFL get their ratings).

Also gives us some time to use Rioli picks to look at other options to trade up.

In what world then would we accept 11 & 18 for Bolton? It's valuing him less than Rioli !!!

I am not confident that we are getting a player that will be better than Rioli at pick 6. Seems to be 5 top players (not including Ashcroft) and then it drops off a little.

Richmond lose Baker, future first. receive pick 3 and pick 8 or 7

St Kilda lose picks 7 and 8 get future first from Richmond and later pick(s)

West Coast lose pick 3 get pick 7 or 8 and Baker

not sure if Saints interested and would later picks reconcile points of diff? some obivously do not want RFC to let go future first but one of Saints 7 or 8 plus 3 pretty good for us I think to get back but Baker gone to. West Coast probably have to cough up a later pick
