Gonna be a bit of full-reverse revisionism around here if it happens.

"I was wrong. Kysaiah was doing the right thing all along! How could I have been so blind?"
Wasn't there a poster here who kept banging on that we should have drafted Pickett instead of Weightman even though it wasn't possible.

Well come on down ......

Spargo would have been an obvious one to be linked to, but he’s OOC.

Sparrow would make sense. Not sure he’s much of an upgrade on what we have, but would suit us.

I’m therefore expecting it to be Shane McAdam
Is Sparrow a Forward? I only remember him playing as a mid.

Would it be too much of a stretch to describe Max Gawn as a small forward?

Not all players want the Geelong lifestyle, I believe Macrae was approached and turned them down, I always had tremendous respect for Boak, who did a Chris Grant and stayed with Port. A lot of players want the big clubs, Geelong is influential but not a big club.

Worse was when we used our number 1 pick on Jamarra instead of Thilthorpe. What was Sam Power thinking

So imagine if they had live trading you could actually have this occur. Match for Jamarra at pick 1 and trade him to Adelaide for pick 2 then use that to pick Thilthorpe. The melts would be hilarious

Kade Chandler please!

And as much as we’d love to reverse the decision now, Bailey Smith was the absolutely correct pick based off all the information available, and Dogs recruiting staff do not need to be investigated for not drafting the then-flakey small forward Zak Butters.

Investigated!? I'd have gone Royal Commission myself.

Normally the dogs get the picks right. But you have to wonder whether they do their due diligence/dick head research.
