Much much much prefer him to Bruce. Fits superbly with our young key forwards.

Lynch is about to turn 29 this month though. We will get longer service from Bruce at 27.

No need to convince. Lynch doesn't put his head over the ball. Needs to receive it clean or he doesn't get it at all. Classy when he has it tho. Not sure he's a Bevo type.

For every player we trade in one of these five will be delisted/traded. Roberts surely a certainty at this point. Ah yeah so he has.
Which means if we get all our 4 trade targets (obviously unlikely) then all four will be delisted/traded.

Fergus Greene is contracted until 2020.

The only possible delists remaining (besides rookies which is irrelevant to list spots) are Williams, Dickson, Webb and Roberts. Obviously Williams won't be, so it's either we delist/retire some of the others, or we trade out contracted players. Someone like Brad Lynch could be traded out for peanuts to a WA side, for example

Tory would help the Suns be a bit more competitive though, so wouldn't be the worst option. Don't see much point in clubs recruiting him tbh, he's probably only got 1 good year left in him, but would be happy for him if he can snag himself a one year lucrative contract

Josh Bruce definitely wants to leave the Saints and come to the Bulldogs. Just needs StKilda to agree to release him.

Can't say any more but you would hope that we could get this done in the off-season.
