Easy to kick goals when a lot of your shots happen to be running into an open goal and/or kicking from the square. Last year George was sub 50% for set shot accuracy and you only need to look at the GWS game to see how unreliable he is from a set shot.

George has elite pace and endurance , he earns every goal he gets

Not suggesting he plays Georges role, I'm suggesting he is an upgrade on George as a player as our game evolves. Don't get me wrong George is a good player, but he isn't irreplaceable, in fact it takes one poor game from him for the masses to start demanding he gets dropped for Bolton/Stengle.

For mine Billings being added to our side, if it was to happen, would only improve our game plan, because of the flexibility he gives the line up. He doesn't compete for a spot with Higgins Titch Lambert & KMac, he compliments them and means we could possibly play a Martin or Cotchin up forward a little more. George doesn't allow for that because he doesn't have that ability to play through the middle.

As it stand I doubt anything happens with Billings anyway, Saints won't be letting him go. Me bringing him up was about who I'd take from the Saints in comparison to the others that were discussed like Acres Steel Gresham

And thats why saints will be permanent cellar dwellars, because they keep
Shit trucks like schillings and lonie and Sinclair and all the other crap players they have

If anyone was replaceable it would be Butler but he is classy so if can find half a goal and 3-4 more disposals a game he becomes one of the better small forwards in the game.

Castagna lacks class but has X factor and could quite easily become a 2+ goal a game pressure small forward. Could be even better if he improves his skills significantly.

Rioli is a Rioli.

Billings is a mid/fwd that plays a role similar to Higgins but Higgins will be an elite player in this role in a couple of years, Billings is unlikely to exceed very good.

What about Fantasia, Impey, Parfitt, Simpkin or Spargo? Why is all this discussion on Billings? Does he want out? Have we been linked? He's contracted until 2019. I'm confused.

If we are just throwing up complete speculative trades, I'd prefer Fantasia.

You know you're the only one mentioning Billings as being a superstar. No one else has said that, all that has been suggested is that Billings would be an upgrade to our list. Sadly it seems that some can't even discuss that without letting their Richmond bias take over.

12th for tackles (one spot behind Castagna)
3rd for inside 50s
=2nd for goal assists
14th for contested possessions
=1st for uncontested possessions
=9th for effective disposals
6th for marks inside 50
5th for score involvements
9th meters gained
13th for clearances

His possession count might go down with use but his ability to create scores and his pressure would go way up because of our teams total buy in. He is a very good player and only 22, so will keep improving.

Does he apply the defensive pressure that Is George’s role in the side , last night he had 24 pressure acts , that’s less than Dustin Martin and 1/2 of what George, butler and Rioli regularly do. Read my lips , George has a job to do in the side and billing’s could not do that ****en job in any way shape or form
