Maths is my favourite cause it's the easiest subject to help students in. Imo
Is it true in many schools they do not teach maths, or at least times tables anymore?
This shocked me when I heard it, but in todays world you have to check everything you hear...

Timestables is primary school level. I'm Yr7 and 8, but yes should still be done if the kids don't know them

I learned by rote. Times tables chanting started the day in primary school. They stuck with me for life.

Same with phonics.

Don't forget " I COULD care less"

Yes, that is very annoying as well.

I'm 35 but I genuinely don't understand why grown adults (a lot even older than me) use these smiley face 'emojis' and type 'LOL'. If you worked in McDonalds or a comic book shop then its understandable, but otherwise it just screams 'I live with my parents and love to listen to Taylor Swift while I jump up and down on my bed singing into my hairbrush'

No, it's not true, both my kids have learnt the times tables at school and do maths every single day.

Why do grown men use terms like 'nothingburger' and 'I have a bridge to sell you'
'I have a bridge to sell you' is Boomer a era saying. It's certainly not some young folks' saying.

Don't forget " I COULD care less"
I knew a guy who said "I could care less, it would be extremely difficult to, but i could".

Seemed like the sort of thing he thought was a really clever expansion on a well known saying but came across like he spent alot if time in high school getting dunked on.
