Mark Zuckerberg is one of the richest, most powerful people on the planet and one of the few people with the means to tell the government to go **** itself. And threaten them with court action so as to enforce his right to free speech so that he could tell the world what nefarious things the government was up to. Did he do any of that? Of course he didn't because he's full of shit and none of what he said on Rogan happened to the extent that he claimed. He knows that Joe is too dumb to push back on anything he claimed because he was preaching to the converted.

Contrary to his current narrative, he isn't a free speech advocate who was being suppressed by the piss weak Biden administration. He is a media oligarch who blows with whatever social or political wind that is in his primary interest.

Like all of the other oligarchs who run the country his pivot to the right is as surprising as night following day. Something that may be connected with the threat of being jailed for life by the incoming president.

Biden humiliated himself by letting Netanyahu dictate the timing of and stifling peace talks and the return of what hostages aren't laying under the rubble of buildings that the IDF flattened with the JDAMS that Joe provided.

Only a fool would believe that the timing of this agreement wasn't prearranged to give Trump an inauguration gift.

At the end of the day nobody should be taking credit for this deal. Not Biden. Not Trump. Not Netanyahu and not Hamas. They should all hang their heads in shame for allowing Isreal to kill anywhere form 40-100,000 people and reducing its infrastructure back to the Stone Age. Israel had numerous opportunities to go to the negotiating table and get the hostages home and every time they said no. Because the hostages are of secondary importance to the real goal of taking advantage of Hamas' horrendous act on Oct. 7 to rest control of as much Palestinian territory as possible by forcing its inhabitants into the Sinai, Jordan or just anywhere else really.

Not surprisingly the death toll has only made support for Hamas stronger and as with all insurgencies made recruitment of fighters for their cause easier. Invading another territory and martyring somebodies entire extended family and laying waste to everything they once had has a way of doing that. History is very instructive in the regard.

So FJB. But the road eality is that like most Americans he has an enormous blindspot to Israel's activities in the Middle East in general and Palestine in particular because it has allowed for a continuation of US hegemony in the area.

Next stop of the 40 year multi party/president shitshow that is US foreign policy in the Middle East will be the completion of the circle that Netanyahu has been tracking towards for his entire career. Finally dragging the US into a conflagration with Iran.

A country that has increased its ties to another pariah in Russia and may or may not have nuclear weapons. One that will have nothing to lose if faced with the might of the US military.

That should be fun.
