So you barrack for Sydney now and have bought a Montana Ham jumper, duly noted.
Nah, but a) the macho tribalism of AFL men’s is happily not part of the AFLW, and b) I’m pleased to see professional footy players as part of events like Mardi Gras (and kissing and posing with their wives and girlfriends at awards ceremonies) whatever shirts they are wearing.

Nick Daicos’ match worn GF jumper sold at auction for $70,000. A Collingwood supporter and their money are soon parted, that’s for sure.

taylor adams news a bit of a surprise

Swans going hard this off-season. James Jordan and Hamling FAs already, Adams now. Supposed big $$$ offered to Larkey earlier in the year and reportedly a big deal on the table for Oliver if he left. Not to mention McKay.
And Grundy.

Just heard a clip on SEN of Tom Mitchell in the latest “Ball Magnets” podcast, talking about how Hawthorn let him know he wasn’t part of their plans, even though he was happy and expected to stay there. The coaches gave him the lowest ratings in the team for the first two games of the season (against North and Port) even though he played pretty well (and got Brownlow votes in both games), then in a team meeting their showed five clips of players doing wrong things and all five were of him. It’s ok to decide to go in a different direction but that way of doing it, to a good player and solid citizen, is just gutless and childish. He has the last laugh now but it was still really hurtful at the time.

Sounds like workplace bullying to me.

Says a lot about Thammy Mitchell the dwarf bully. After ousting Clarko, the four time premiership coach, he’d have felt untouchable and even more arrogant than he already was when he played. Harro >>>>>>> Mitchell as a bloke!

Well that makes me feel slightly better about Collingwood's win. What better way to shove it up your former employer than to play an important role in a premiership win.

Still might need a bath after having this thought though
