Noah Anderson is a great player to watch. Runs both ways with massive intent. Between him and Callaghan at GWS as my fave non north players to watch.

Awesome kid as well. Would've been happy to play for us, but Bard needed some honourable losses.

I think the Dees are doing the right thing playing the young kids. They can't go back to the same well.
Not sure why the media thought they'd be contenders with their list getting younger generally.

Kids develop at different rates. They play different roles and their output is the result of the team's performance. Put Watson in our team last year and he'd have done **** all and put BGZ in a Hawks jumper and he'd be a gun.

The thing I hate the most, though, is the call to defend a selection when we're talking about 19/20 year olds.

I was pro Wee Wizard Watto that draft, but I will say that its difficult to imagine what his playing standard would be like now if he'd gone through last year at North. Our forwardline was so often either a ghost town or a complete clusterf*ck, and there were bugger all decent tall contested markers for him to crumb around.

Would be pretty nifty darting around Darling's feet right about now tho.

I'm also hoping it applies to each team's trajectory too.

Both teams are light and shade when it comes to performance but I can't get my head around the fact that we have something like 9 top 10 draftees to their 4 and something like 16 first round draftees to their 7.

Surely that differential has to kick in a some point - surely ?

GAA to give international rules revival green light for next October

The revival of the international rules series has moved a step closer after a meeting between GAA and AFL officials in Dublin yesterday with October of this year in Croke Park now a real possibility.

The AFL are keen for a revival of a series which was last played in 2017 in Croke Park. And the GAA has also been receptive with Burns meeting with the AFL during a trip to Australia last autumn. But it was thought a relaunch would be pushed out to next year.”
