Yeah I fell like the bowlers have held up their end pretty well but we just didn't put a score up more often than not.

I sure hope the WACA doesn't actually have much out of pocket for the boys mostly tied up at the next level.

Need more out of that next generation of batters

Goodwin started the season well but faded. Teague Wylie's career has stagnated this season.

Hopefully more durability out of Hardie and Marsh too. Green might also be spending more time at WA as Webster hasn't put a foot wrong taking his place.

Yep, hence my Bradbury comment. After such a mediocre season, there's actually a reasonable chance that we get a win today.

Imagine we did that, then headed to Karen Rolton Oval and beat SA under the bonus points rule in the final. It'd be the most underwhelming Shield win you could imagine.

And I'd take it!

Victoria needs to declare fairly quickly, if not overnight. Being forced to then go at 4 an over all day might actually benefit some of our guys.
