Scorchers didn't deserve to play finals this season .

Pretty much dorf, Morris , jhye and Connelly are the only players to get a pass mark .


Agar did alright considering his comeback from that back injury that he played through last season .

Finn Allen and turner with series to forget and the unavailability of Inglis marsh and green made out batting line-up putrid

Honourable mention to hobson with a couple of good knocks . Recon someone throws money at him we won't want to match and replace him with another budget hitter

Scorchers seem to leak players every year without ever bringing in anyone of substance to replace them. Instead they rely on development from within

It’s been successful in the past but ultimately it’s unsustainable

So what’s the go with Marsh can’t we sign him for next year? Or only after a certain date?

Was our batting really the issue though? Lost more games because of shit efforts with the ball. Allen was decent enough when you consider he kept pretty well too. Shame his innings v Thunder at home went to waste

Nah most of those games we under scored with the bat and were lucky to be in it in the last over.

Most teams would back themselves to get 12-15 off the last over with genuine batsmen at the crease .

Saying that both tye and Kelly were poor in those 2 home games

Actually losing Mitch is unforgivable territory now that his test career is done. Yes his recent form has been bog average but thats due to red ball cricket but at BBL he is as good as they come.

Absolutely it was our batting.

Lost a couple of close games we usually would've won but more often than not were defending a subpar total.

Was lucky for Allen that Hurst was a bust and he got to keep.
For probably our highest paid player, 180 runs at 18 was clearly not good enough.

MM as captain is a big no from me.
I know he's captain of the Oz side, but I think he's ordinary.

Turner had a poor year as captain but still rate him more highly than Mitch.
