When you consider how bad the one day domestic season is going for WA, and you then drop the majority of them into the Scorchers side you can see why things are going so poorly.

Been a horrible short form year for WA cricket.

This team is off it's head. Time and time again it finds a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. With bat, ball in the field.. when push comes to shove it finds a way.

Inglis and Marsh have basically missed the whole tournament, Hardies never got going after injury, surely this makes them pull the finger out and look somewhere other than Glamorgan 3rds for the internationals.

We'd still be sitting third if we hadn't blown thost last 2 home games. Awful season but I still think we can contend next year.

Turner has had a really bad year as captain but a firm no to MM as captain.

I think only having Jhye for 5 games really hurt us.
We haven't had MM for a long time.

It was our 3rd or 4th seamer of Tye or Kelly that killed us.

Apart from a few exceptions, our bats were poor.

Two of our internationals couldn't get a game and Finn Allen was disappointing as our prized recruit.

Yeah the quality of the BBL has really fallen off when we still should (if a couple of key moments go our way) still have finished top 2 with this very underdone list. 2 shit internationals and a good one who took a while to get going, that’s pretty much the season right there, absolutely cooked our batting depth.

No Inglis, Hardie injured and not getting going/couldn’t bowl, Richo in and out, bowling lineup chopping and changing.

All that and we still had enough moments to be thereabouts yet again. The comp is really in strife if the same blokes at the Scorchers and Sixers are still good enough to clearly be the best sides in it.
