Wasn't Tony Hobby an Adelaide board member before we joined who came across to be a PAFC board member?

Hobby maybe but I thought it was Robert Howie that crossed over from Port to the crows, apparently a major player in them getting the Toyota sponsorship, and crossed back when we joined the AFL. I stand to be corrected.
I was told by a former director of those times that both Howie and Hobby were not supportive of Cahill being our inaugural coach and Howie was one that supported dropping our connection to our black and white past.

Took some extra time to think about it over the past week, but have put in my vote this morning. Snowdon as I originally planned. That combination of football, corporate and community experience makes him stand out to me.

He doesn't work for the club in terms of being a paid employee, but he is on the Finance committee ie does it for no payment.

Stevens did, very supportive and pulbicly so.
We posted it on the bbtb page and I posted his comment earlier in this thread.

Troughton and Steven are simply splitting the non Snowden vote.
Snowden is clearly the shoo in and the club choice.

Port Adelaide welcomes new member-elected board member

Experienced football administrator Rob Snowdon will join Port Adelaide's board, as announced at the club's Annual General Meeting.

THE Port Adelaide Football Club has welcomed a new member-elected board member, announced at the club’s Annual General Meeting on Friday night.

Experienced football administrator Rob Snowdon won a majority of the votes cast in an independently-run election process and will have a three-year term.

Mr Koch thanked Wanganeen for his service and also paid tribute to Mr Andrew Day who ended his three-year tenure as an AFL-appointed director.

He also thanked Kevin Osborn, who is stepping down from his role as Deputy Chairman and announced that director Jamie Restas would fill the role going forward.................


Kevin Osborn has moved from deputy, to be the director concentrating on the Alberton Oval precinct redevelopment, given his past board experience on construction projects.
