Right and light wing backs are very light on depth. Need reinforcements/developing there.
I think calling Gomez and Elliott academy kids is a bit of a stretch.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just precautionary non weight bearing to maximise recovery. You see players wear moon boots right up to match day.

Pretty sure he got injured on the weekend and had to come off early if my memory is playing ball.
Edit - Eddie said it was a contact injury not a muscle but isn’t sure of severity.

Allison’s hamstring is worse than first thought.
He was meant to be back for the Southampton game and has missed that plus 3.
Jota has now missed 6 weeks and again were none the wiser on his return.
Hopefully Tsimikas comes back soon but losing Konate and Bradley till January is frustrating.

Quansah and Gomez havent played much football so they will surely be good to go. Quansah at CB next to VVD. Trent at RB and Gomez to LB.
Trent is just back so should be good to go.
It's just VVD you worry about... he's playing so much football. He is kinda like Mo though, outside of the knee injury which was Pickfords fault, he is rarely injured.

Reckon he could have come back quicker but because of how well Kelleher is going I reckon they were like, let's take it easy with Ali's return. Give him a holiday.
