This is a first for me so thank you. Wish I had their property wealth.Okay Boomer.
Chayce is an excellent kick. Occasionally waits too long, but I think that was just part of the confidence issue.Surely Smith and Seed must be close to being on this list?
McHenry is not booming or laser but his vision makes up for it. His little spot ups going to be invaluable.
Shoenberg and Chayce Jones dont look anything special with their kicks but I wouldn't mind the stats on their effectivenss. Reckon they'd be pretty good if you were counting.
EDIT Cook also described by some as the most skilfull player we've had.
I liked the look of Hinge in the limited sample we got of him. I think if I dug around I could find a thread where I actually said he was like a far more aggressive and penetrating Jake Kelly. My bet is hinge grabs that spot. I like worrell but still not sure where he fits.
I think Seed still gets seduced by the meters gained stat too much. Takes the long option over the open option.I actually don't rate seedsmans kicking, love the length but lacks precision.

I've been a big fan of him for long time, feel like he put it all together this year but that's the bit that will get him the AA I reckon.I think Seed still gets seduced by the meters gained stat to much. Takes the long option over the open option.
He has to realise that he's now playing at the level that 1 statistic doesn't define him anymore. He's good enough to just be a high quality outside midfielder who gets plenty of the footy. But he needs to make that switch in his head to take the next step IMO.
I agree, its his next progression as a player and 1 I hope the coaching staff has been in his ear about all offseason.I've been a big fan of him for long time, feel like he put it all together this year but that's the bit that will get him the AA I reckon.

Sorry Himmelberg monster Worrell. Himmelberg did some nice things.Just to confirm - who was monstering who?
I see midfield qualities in Doedee too, but I don't think worrell is our man. Murray or fisher maybe.I have a dream that Worrell becomes a brilliant third tall interceptor and Doedee moves into the midfield.

Can the season please just start, now Doedee is going to be a midfielder. We’ve definitely hit peak off season
Nah, haven't hit peak yet. Peak is usually when a late picked rookie has a 5 min purple patch in the 4th quarter of a trial game, and everyone proclaims they are a round 1 lock. Can the season please just start, now Doedee is going to be a midfielder. We’ve definitely hit peak off season

Always hated seeing Doedee as the 2nd KPD, I get they’re wanting a mobile defence but wouldn’t that have been an advantage for Worrell to get some games? Not quite a KPD but he does at least have some extra height to combat the taller players which then frees up Doedee more.Good point however I am hopeful that we will stop playing Doedee as a key defender.
Kelly sometimes played as a poor man’s third tall (when Doedee was used as our second key defender) or as a lock down defender. We usually rotate seven players through our back six.
My preferred defensive structure is
1) Two Key Defenders; Butts and Murray (Frampton and Borlaise as back ups)
2) Third Tall/Intercept Defender; Doedee
(Worrell, Hinge back up)
3) Medium/Small lock down defender; Brown (McPherson back up)
4) Three rebounding Defenders; Smith, Jones and Milera (Hamill, Hinge, Parnell as back ups).
Milera, if fit, is certain to take one of the spots vacated by Kelly.
Yeah, and that's before 95% of posters have seen him kick a footy.Have you seen the Nankervis chat?
