Sorry not DOSA, i meant hobart. Mostly D league players I think.

Angus Norton, Liefhebber, Mcculoch, Williams, Meadows, Sandric, Isaac Mcrimmon, David Monks are the senior players gone that I know of, probably a few more

*Mcculoch due to injury

If you were in charge of a club and wanting your club to being taken seriously, then you would be trying to get to the premier league ASAP.
Pretty sure all Regional League clubs want to be taken seriously, but you’ve still got to be up to the task of competing in the Premier League don’t you - in addition to having the infrastructure and junior pathways to be able to compete in the future also.

Which clubs do you think should look at making the jump with those factors in mind?

Cygnet for sure.

Then we would have 7 and 7.

Then promote and relegate.

That is the logical thinking, however If you take cygnet out of the regional comp without Huonville then you lose 3 games a year with big crowds and big build up. The Huon derby makes a lot of money for both clubs I imagine with the crowds they can pull.

So that should be placed ahead of the whole health of Southern Football?

Kingston vs Cygnet would draw a crowd.

They can still play their pre-season game.

Also when they are in the same division the crowds may be even bigger as they’ve had to wait?

Like in the VAFA

Devils roadshow was at Pontville last night so good timing I got to watch some of this game. They played seniors for 1st 2 qtrs then Brighton brought on a whole new team which looked like a lot of U18s & young reserves. Lindisfarne had about 10 reserves guys they brought on in 3rd qtr and rested some seniors. Score after seniors was Lindisfarne 5.6 to 4.5 but I didn't see much after that so don't know final score sorry.

Brighton have a long year in front of them, might have been not a flogging on the score board after 2 quaters, but lindisfarne definitely would have beat them by 40+ points if they were full strength. Ed Stanley will kick near 100 again this year with Daniel blazley in the best nick of his life. Fyfe is the best player in the league.

And still won’t win a flag

North Hobart V Lindisfarne
Cygnet v Glenorchy
Huonville V Lauderdale
Hobart Vs Kingborough

Will be interesting to see the results of these practice games, anyone going?

Last nights practice matches

Dosa beat dodges by 90

Lauderdale beat Huon by over 100

Cygnet just got over a weakened Glenorchy but still that’s scary for other SFL sides

Despite reports Brighton Lindisfarne seniors was quite close but once it went to more Brighton ressies fair to say Lindisfarne won
