Furies – Ladder position 6th WWWLLL
Demons – Ladder position 8th LLWLLW
Despite some excellent all round performances from the Furies last week including a mighty effort from the very hot Helen Wheels, they recorded their third loss in a row and will be working hard to figure out what they are doing wrong and how to fix it. Sitting 6th on the ladder they are right amongst it but there are worrying signs..If they lose 4 in a row it might be time for a shake up of the board and coaching staff down at Punt Road..
The Demons, well they are in the 8 which is as big a surprise for them as everyone else, after just 2 wins they are sneaking in under the radar on field while recording very good posting stats off field. Last week they defeated the premiership hungover Wonders by a solid 28 with a mighty effort from Oddhawk kicking 3 goals with deaneus and Azarole importantly contributing another 3 each.
The Demons finished bottom last year and collected the wooden spoon which is not what they want to do in Season22 so they will be working very hard with their coaching staff this week to make sure they can back up last weeks great win and consolidate themselves a spot in the 8 going into the second half of the season.
