Official Match Thread Season 39 Round 9 - Mount Buller Demons vs Roys FFC at The Snow Dome

And a very good morning to my fabulous Buller comrades and hello Roys!

Time to get up and do everything I should have done Wednesday.

I'm sure there will come a day that I get up and do everything I should have done in 2018.

But until that day comes I'll just do things one at a time. Occasionally with quaffing involved.

Whatever you do today, do it cautiously.

I love the sound of rubbish trucks in the morning. It’s so cleansing!
Ours, for some unknown reason (my belief is that our run is now done by the work experience kid) has changed from morning to afternoon to late afternoon to early Saturday because they forgot/couldn't get around to us to late morning again.

Don't you just love consistency?

Why is it that I'll wake up well before its time to get up and lie awake for ages, and then be asleep when my alarm goes off and really tired?
This is me every single morning.

That would piss me off soooooooo bad.

Good morning!

But my strong urge is to do it with RECKLESS ABANDON! May I cautiously ask whether this is possible?

It's the beef cheeks of magic.
You know what?

I'd have thought I would never read this particular sentence throughout my lifetime. In fact, I'd have thought I could probably go through multiple lifetimes without reading this particular sentence.

But here we are.

How wrong I was.

Sweet FA surprises again!

Wind, Hills hoist. Difficult to play Goon Roulette with an LG dryer.
Dryers therefore contributing to population sagnantation.
Difficult yet not impossible to play goon roulette with an LG dryer (or any brand, for that matter).

The envisaged mess and smell suggests this may not be a good idea, however.

In lieu of a hills hoist, a ceiling fan is the next best bet.

Goood morning all especially cats2rise ❤️
I was up at 1, 3, 6 and 7:30 this morning, Yak. Each time I thought "is it too early for the morning message to Yak?"

Then life happened and now its 9:41!

Absolutely!

You've asked cautiously, so that's good enough for me.

Yeah I have no idea why the wild discrepancies in time, but I also know that I'm not at that age (and hopefully never will be) to ring up and complain doing my best "old man yells at cloud" impersonation.

Which reminds me of when I was working for public transport information over here. Geez we got some stupid questions, but one of my favourites was someone who rang up informing us that he had just moved into a new (rich) neighbourhood and didn't want "our smelly old buses" travelling up and down the main drag.

Please, never let me get to that stage of idiotic, idealised entitlement.

Look I've been known to air my grievances with Metro trains over the past couple of years but that is due to poor performance. Nothing of such entitlement like that clown.

And I have no problem with people doing so. Often it's the simplest thing - problems with through running for instance that commuters don't know about - which causes delays, and sometimes long ones.

Though there were also times where cabs were called out to collect stranded passengers too. It wasn't a bad job, but any lower rung, government customer service job is the equivalent of being a corporal in the army - despised on both sides.

I’m one of those sickeningly sweet garbage putter outers, I make sure the bins are correctly placed, straight and enough room in between for easy access. And generally I’m up early enough to wave or say thank you. At Xmas it’s always a cake or home made biscuits or a few beers for them, you can see it means something.

Jebus, no wonder you submit it in the middle of the night when everyone’s gone to bed.
