The Furies Fighting gave us a bit of a pasting today. They were on their game and led from the front. Bonz was dynamite in front of the goals (love your latest avatar btw), and NaturalDisaster played a banging match on the ball. Orange crush is an real talent who deserves more attention, picking up 30 touches , and that's not even counting the groping.

TRUMAN#1 I did claim DERRINALPHIL would sort you out but coach Bhyt Iobbdin (or whatever his name is) apparently thought he would serve us better in the guts. He did play a good game in midfield and HinkleysHeroes filled his shoes admirably, but one has to wonder what might have been if Bhyt would just leave everybody where they are bloody comfortable!

The Furies played fast, free-flowing qooty, much more of the play but relying on quick ball movement rather than set plays - according to their lead in kicks & handballs, but taking considerably less marks than the Roys. A lot of their goals came from pressure, and out-tackling us regularly and as a result almost doubling our inside 50s for the game. If Grockadoc had kicked straighter the scoreline could have been even more obscener.

Overt at Royland, we continue to get strong performances from old stagers fitzroybowiedog and royboy2 . _Mike_ was resolute on the half-back flank - I'd never picked him for a defender but he begged for that spot and who am I to deny him his dues.

Elmer_Hauser popped up for multiple goals, and windyhill had a few pings too. Just as well, because first Chronz and later the Wall Of Toump Ass kept our "young" (sic) gun TheGoatBaron almost entirely out of the game. We must look at our setups and our forward delivery. Fleabane again connected with the scoreboard, impressing week after week.

I apologise for being mostly missing the early half of the week, the unsavoury weather events up here affected my appearance levels But the thread kicked along pretty nicely thanks to both sides not spamming the hell out of it but instead choosing topics that others actually found some interest in. I like it and there should be more. More threads like this, I mean. Not more posts.

philreich dropped by to tell us when the match wasn't gonna be posted and then nearly started a different match haha. But it was a good commentary delivery after those hiccups, thanks for your tireless work!

To the Simmers, well you know I love you. Yes, it's Stockholm Syndrome, but technically the love is there.

Poll should have asked who wants a Furies v Roys Grand Final with the options being "yeah" and "hell yeah".
