S19 ALL-SFA BACKLINE!

BP: @Rendered Unsafe

Rendered Unsafe secured a spot in the back pocket thanks to a solid on-field season and a magnificent contribution off the field. RU had a really solid posting season and was a constant volunteer to ensure games were posted on time! RU was in the top 30 for a range of statistics, including disposals, tackles, exie and dream team points. He was a solid contributor through the middle and outstanding at best. His statistics did not enable him to take a prime midfield spot, but he still found his way into the final All-SFA team.

FB: Marlowe

Marlowe played as a key position defender all season long. The Royals co-captain was a superb contributor throughout S19. Though perhaps a little less noticeable than in S18, Marlowe's contributions are of the highest order. As a key position defender, Marlowe has been rewarded with the Full Back position this season and is fast becoming the SFA's "golden fist."

BP: Smartys Power

Smartys Power is an active contributor that played the season out as a key back. Smartys played the entire season in defence, claiming to concede only 12 goals. He was a large presence on and off the field and managed to become the "rock" in the Demon's defence (like the Logger of old).

HBF: A Bit High

The Wolves skipper wasn't named here for no reason. ABH played on the back flank all season long and did it successfully. His 200 disposals were helped by 76 marks (5th in the league). He was again an active, eager and opinionated member of the league and was always a presence when the Wolves needed one.

CHB: Frankston Rover

Again, a defender that played defence! FR was at CHB all season for the Warriors and had another fine season. He averaged close to 40 posts per match thread and had a huge league presence. He was also the captain of the up and coming Warriors, who finished top of the table. A well deserved selection in a key position.

HBF: Mr Eagle

Mr Eagle will offer some run and drive off the backline, just like he offered the Hawks run and drive all season. Mr Eagle was an absolutely dominant force in match threads in S19. He posts uniquely and doesn't contribute to the background noise. He has been a huge poster this season and a competent contributor across the wing in S19. #halfbackflank

I do like to surround myself with success (despite being a North supporter).

Hey, Wacky....how you doin'?

SEASON 19 - EKA MEDALLIST

The EKA Medal is awarded to the best first year poster, as judged by the committee. It does not factor in the statistics.

Well. Normally I'd build this one up. I'd talk about how close the race was. Not this time.

Willo_ blitzed the competition and has been awarded the EKA Medal for S19. Willo_ has been an outstanding contributor for the Wolves this season. From the second he entered the competition, he ensured he would be noticed. He posts absolute quality. You can't skip over his posts. Willo_ is unafraid and will happily engage in banter with any member of this competition.

A regular poster, Willo_'s success is about far more than posting levels. It is a victory for quality contributions. They do get noticed and they do make this league a better place. Here is hoping that Willo_ can avoid the EKA curse and go on to become a sensational poster for seasons to come.

In case the curse kicks in, it is worth noting that Milky95 finished in 2nd and toxic finished in third place.

Well done to all of our rookies for putting up with us in S19.

On behalf of the committee, I would like to especially congratulate Willo_ for an outstanding debut season.

Well I'd just like to thank the academy for loving me, I'm no good at talking about myself so instead I'd like to invite my former skipper A Bit High to the stage to talk about how good I am

peace out

Claiming to concede only 12 goals this season? Please. I did only concede 12 goals this season.

Nevertheless, thanks to all the captains that selected me for this team. I am truly honoured to join the illustrious group of All-SFAer's.
