Outside of Close, who I'm not necessarily sure has job security but as a bottom priced DPP I think it's worth the punt, is there any other rookie worth looking at this week?

I'm pretty keen on getting Parker in, I'm just short of doing Anderson+Pickett (my two top priced rookies) for him and Close, so I'd need to get a cheeky threesome happening.

I’m looking at Ling but not expecting scores worthy of playing on field. I considered McPherson but at $212k he’s just too expensive now for me. That extra cash gets me Duncan easy next week. He was only on something like 10 points until Doedee went down and Doedee won’t be out for long.

Option 1
D.Smith -> Close
S.Hill -> Daniel
Pretty much wipes out my bank

Option 2
Taylor -> Close
S.Hill -> McPherson
D.Smith -> Oliver (via Walters)

Any other suggestions will be most welcome as this will do my head in!

when you don't know ins/outs until night before. When will we get updates on Hill, Doedee etc?

Likely McInerney and Pickett for Dusty and Close.

Sub-470k Dusty is a bargain IMO. Will move him to FWD when Rankine/Georgiades have mooed. Always finishes off the year well, and will look to fire especially with Tigers on the outer at this stage. Looks set to go.

Pickett is playing tonight so I’d be holding another week.

Thinking 3 different options at this stage
Option 1 berry to smith, Simpson to close and Williamson to Stewart holding doedee with starce covering him.

Option 2 smith to smith, berry to close and Bennell to Duncan meaning Williamson and starce on field this week, with doedee on the bench but only one mid rookie on field.

Option 3 smith to smith berry to close and Williamson to the gull again holding doedee. But one rookie on field down back.

Thoughts on which option sounds better?

Rampe/Hurn/Short are my upgrade options in def for upgrading Hill......kinda torn, but leaning towards Rampe given his current form and possible shift in role?

Hurn is well priced but has been abit down with scores recently, Short looks safer option but lacks the ceiling it seems.

Thoughts guys?

Really like Rampe if you’re comfortable he’ll play with his hand injury.

I'd love to shop for Super Premos, but I think I need to shop value this week. Team is out of form, bank isn't anything special, but I do have pretty much max trades, so maybe I'll try to incrementally work my way up to the big guns. Try to play the attrition game.

Bring in the value - IN: Close, Smith (Bailey), Hurn

All of the Petracca, Macraes, Lloyds and co are on the wishlist, but will have to happen later. So many good options to buy this week that I can't do - Parker, Merrett, etc.

Tbh I can't understand what the rationale behind the team naming is. Essentially this is a normal round with a game on a Wednesday night added in. Completely understand for Round 10 when the games are Mon-Fri and then Round 11 which will be affected by 10.

I'd be wary of bringing him purely for the fact CD seems to grade him harshly compared to some other players. Last week he was amazing I thought but barely cracked the ton. That was a 130+ game easily as he carried our team.
