Exactly ...that's why he's a hold

Do you think Long's success has anything to do with Husthwaite finally getting a go, after so much teasing of us Coaches
Not really. Just stuck in the queue behind Nuke, Worpel, Day, Nash as a clearance mid, with Mackenzie and Ward have more flexibility in role. Excellent VFL form, far better than Long's. Just in his third season and 195cm mids generally take more time to build their tank and develop their skills than smaller players.

Been such a frustrating one because he gets a ****load of the footy and I could see him making a lot of cash, but there's also the sub risk even if he does come back in soon.

I've currently got him traded out this week because the alternatives (CHall & Knevitt) don't leave me with enough money to get Gross instead of Carroll (spooked about Caroll's JS with El-Hawli already at D2) or are actually playing so capable of a spike score (Moraes). Want to hold Tsatas, but don't like the idea of having Knevitt the only guy on my mid bench that's currently playing.

The fact that the Essendon game starts before the emergencies for the Blues game are named is a pain in the ass.

No trades for the first time this year probably - unless I pull a last minute swap of Gross to Carroll for my ins this week. In which case I'd consider going early on Husthwaite if he looks good and downgrade Trainor and then upgrade Clarry to Serong/Zerrett/Dunkley.

Setterfield having an awful game. If Tsatas doesn't come back in for him I will head down to the Hangar and take a shit on Scott's desk

Setterfield looked slow... it's surely Tsatas time to shine.

Only $5k itb, so I need to build that up.

I'll do 1 or 2 downgrades, depending on whether there are rookies to bring in or not, and how my rookies go.

Sticking to the plan, holding spuds like Oliver and Short until their byes, and getting rid of on-field rookies.

ZReid's BE will be high, he'll be done. Moraes the other spud that can go.
ZReid's BE is in the 40s and there are no good downgrade options, so he can stick around.

Moraes/CHall/Stone/Cleary are the potential trade-outs. Semi-downgrade, semi-correction. If there's a good downgrade option I'll do it, put some cash in the bank and hopefully get some more cash generating.

Otherwise it'll be a "no trades" rounds (first of the year).
