He is in the best handful every week now. One of the better AFL ruck prospects IMO.

Nice figures! But seriously Sampson as a ruckman today was very ordinary!
His tap work at the start was ordinary...tapped to whom?!?
He only marks the footy, cos he's the tallest one competing! Never the pack crashing contested mark!
Good kick of the footy!
Not sure if he'll ever build up physically to compete with the big rucks of the League!
That could take a long, long time!
I'd be more inclined to focus on him playing as a forward!
And look for another Big O ruckman in the minor leagues!

koz took some crashing pack marks early credit where its due hes not completely soft or useless like some say

he faded bad when the team did as nothing was coming to him, but he couldn't regain his earlier timing and power for the rest of the game [disclaimer i didnt see 3rd and half of 4th]

may presented and marked as an outlet down the line well a couple of times that i saw but not much else

It’s not saying much but I’d play kozi ahead of Naismith,,,but Ryan should be playing and it’s starting to piss me orfff

Will Bella is the standout tall forward out of the Gold Coast Suns Academy in 2021, presenting as a late option with his readymade frame and forward craft.
His power and goalkicking nous draw comparisons to the likes of Jack Darling and Charlie Dixon, who are very much at home inside forward 50.

Only 21 and he's 97 kilos wow!

Find me one 6 foot 7 bloke that crashes packs? He is an excellent over head mark.
He's a ruckman that can play forward.

Great to see the VFL boys continuing to contribute .
Tresize , McAullife and a couple of other AFL players were on limited game time and thought Brindley, Elnour and Street were good and Wilson was solid
McAullife and Coulthard imo our best AFL players.

Seems like we want to be the next Dean Cox or something lol. Was good last year without Nank he needs game time and experience.

The kid is improving the whole package won't come at once. His contested marking has improved. His ruck work last year in the afl was good. Needs game time and experience for me we're wasting him in the vfl. What happens now when Balta comes back.If Kossie and Naismith both got a block of games he deserved it more.

I agree he deserved a game this week , but he had a bad kid’s day today . I still can’t pick where he’s heading at the level as he still looks soft at times. He has a lot of deficiencies still and needs to work on them.

Just watched the highlights gee that FF Bella was impressive, on the lead one grab marks , contested grabs , moves well, is built and thumping kick , could do a lot worse than throw him a jumper ,at 21yo he’s ready to go
