God I'd love to be able to win as much as Geelong seem to.
Credit to the Dogs, they never stopped trying and were coming home with a wet sail, but just couldn't get across the line.
Liberatore may have played one of the best midfielder's games ever, amassing a ridiculous 19 clearances and 28 contested possessions, as well as nailing 9 tackles and a goal.
Bontempelli is a freak. The fact he doesn't have a Brownlow yet is baffling.
I honestly didn't watch much of this game so don't have too much else to talk about.

Conversely, I wish I didn't watch this game.
A pathetic, limp-wristed and useless lack of effort after quarter time from a majority of our players.
Our midfield was utterly destroyed by Conor Rozee, Zak Butters, and Jason Horne-Francis. We were bullied.
You could count the number of players who really tried hard on one hand.
Pathetic. Disgusting.
It's games like this that seem like a complete reset to all the hard work that the side has put in over the first few weeks.
