In: Richards, JOD

Out: Duryea, someone else unlucky

Lobb, Garcia and Clarke close

Anyone decided they can't go and have 2 tickets? Really keen to go back with my 8 year old.

Must play another tall down back. I think JOD is underdone and a big risk to play on Tomahawk or Cameron. Not that I really like Keath he has done reasonable job on Hawkins before which would leave Jones for Cameron when he is deep and Richards or Buku when he plays up the ground.

We must have a tactic to limit Stewart's influence. Maybe when forced to go long we kick the ball really high with more hang time to spoil him because he reads the play so he will always be in a position to mark with a normally floated long ball.

We already did today. The Eagles at times had two loose behind the ball. We avoided roosting it long to McGovern, Barrass and others.

I thought Buku has been very good these last two weeks after a so-so effort in Round 1. I am not sure he can go with Cameron at this stage of his development.
So for me it’s Richards and JOD in and Duryea and Poulter out. ( Baker to sub)
Duryea did nothing wrong but I have doubts about how he would go against younger faster forwards next week.

Thought Darcy was a little underwhelming today. Not bad, just underwhelming.
If there is selection integrity, Lobb should come in for him, doubt it will happen though.
It better bloody happen. Lobb also played well v Geelong last year.

Weightman Inj?

Out Duryea (unlucky) Poulter (unlucky) Darcy
In Richards, Clarke, Lobb

This will be a super tough week to predict changes. Duryea was superb but Richards will be straight in. The question is will they bring JOD in and move Williams back to the wing or keep the same structure as the first three rounds?

The Cats don’t have any other talls outside the main two so do we trust Buku to have a crack one on one with Cameron? Macrae is probably the one most in danger to fit in JOD and move Williams back up the field with some other shuffling. Guys like VDM, Baker & Gags won’t be dropped on today’s performances.

In: Richards
Out: Duryea

Another tough one is Harmes. Was dominant in the VFL.

Sit West on Stewart and stop the ugly Cheshire Cat getting anywhere near the ball in the air. Would love to see Bevo do something. Far too often do interceptors have record numbers against us.

Ed has to come back in, probably for Duryea who was very good today.

Would like to see JOD in as well, didn’t see any of the VFL game but if he’s ready I think we need to try and squeeze him in. Still looked a little vulnerable size wise today, Eagles were nowhere near good enough to take advantage of that, Geelong probably will be.

The rest of the defense played well though and I’m not sure who would be the one to miss for him. Dale was a fair bit off in the first half but I wouldn’t have him in the firing line, Bramble has been a great pickup and think he is easily in the best 7 defenders, Buku was good and is worth persisting with and Williams has seamlessly gone back and found his best form. The easy decision would be to move Williams up the ground again but not sure it’s the best decision. A nice conundrum to have at least but I do feel like JOD needs to be brought back in as soon as his ready.

Wouldn’t be making any other changes further up the ground. Have thought all the role players have played really well the past two weeks after a really rough round one. A couple of good VFL performances by Lobb by the sounds of things but Darcy has earned his spot and it needs to be more than one quiet game to get usurped.

Don't think Duryea is getting dropped, given Bevo mentioned how good he was in the presser. Richards has to make his way in though. Tough decision whether to bring JOD in and go taller, would have to drop a smaller defender.

IN: Richards
OUT: Poulter
SUB: Dale

Given McGovern is the closest AFL equivalent to him, we got a good dress rehearsal today.

Geelong will probably roll out 6 guys who are better forwards than anyone in a West Coast jumper so our defence will have our hands full. Not sure we can afford to have Khamis be the second tall next week. I suspect we bring in one of Keath or JOD.
Richards is a lock.
I would have thought Duryea could be unlucky but Bevo praised him in the post match presentation
