verrry reluctant to move Lobgg out of defence, he is so solid.

I dont mind bringing buss into defence, but someone else goes forward, JOD or Khamis

I'm not so sure weather or not to bring Busslinger in all i know hes been playing well

One thing GWS do very well is they persist to get Hogan the matchup they want. I guarantee that from the first centre bounce Hogan will be trying to switch onto Busslinger and we'll be forced to either allow it or to mess up our own defensive positioning.

It'll be an interesting watch.

My guess is Lobb will play on Hogan, like he did on Cameron.

Jones getting dropped must have been the tough decision referenced in the Jay Clark interview with Bev when discussing selection integrity. Pretty interesting piece.

I've really liked Cleary in his last couple of games. Probably the best match up for Greene.

If he can do well there, he's pretty much cemented a spot.

Should be an intriguing watch.

The other key watch will be whether we play a defensive minded player on Whitfield. His ball use through midfield will have a big bearing.

I remember a player keep getting selected for the worst 24 game stretch I've ever seen pretty recently. Surely Jay Clark was the one who said selection integrity and not Bevo

Understand it is your opinion but Jones couldn't get a game for us as a forward, was litterly about to be delistered by Carlton as a Forward and cannot ruck at all.

Though Buku is a depth player, probably has Jones covered as a forward, 2nd ruck

I’m pretty sure I remember watching Liam Jones fail as a forward for something like 50 or 60 games. I have not interest in going back in time. He is a defender or not in the side at all.

If Buss makes a good fist of things and keeps Jones out of the side and it becomes clear that Naughton needs additional foil, I’m not against a throw at the stumps of Jones forward. What would we have to lose

I think he’d give as much if not more than Khamis but we’ll see

Get used to it. Buss is the way forward.
Jones isn’t 25 anymore and it’s time to find a replacement. Unless we trade for someone it’s Buss/Lobb/JOD.

If we just role with Naughty / JOD or Naughty / Khamis up forward, I wonder if we might be cheeky and look at Kennedy as the backup ruck instead of moving one of our two KPF's out of the forward line? The Giants only use Riccardi or Himmelberg as 2nd rucks so nothing too serious there, and would give us the extra midfielder at the contest and around the ground which Bevo loves.

Wasn’t he quite good as a forward playing with Hall but then turned to a spud as the main target? In 2011 as a 2nd year player he was top 10 in the comp for contested marks playing as a CHF.

Probably Busslinger in for Darcy and swing the magnets around. I can see us using Lobb as the forward/ruck again.

Croft is a year away from being a year away.
