Arguably our worst batting lineup in some time.
Would you rather us 7-120 at lunch?
These two have to bat for at least 2 sessions for us to survive the day
We'll be 7/120 at Tea at this rate. Carey's in now, that will hopefully inject some life into the game. I always remember Les Favell told his players he'd rather be 7/300 at stumps than 2/290.

Our old nemesis Peter Siddle is back in town, he always has success against the Redbacks.

Lawrie Collier not knowing the rules is something I didn't expect.

Once the 94th over started as soon as we take a wicket it's stumps (if we do) as you lose the over and two for changeover

I'd say it's so ingrained in his brain that 6pm local is stumps and there was still more than 10 mins til 6pm when he said it from memory.

Only logical explanation.

Is Chandrasinghe actually just a defensive wall.

Surely long term he won't make it unless he opens the shackles just a little bit.

All good blunting the new ball but eventually you have to lift the tempo in the scoring.

Is striking at 25 runs per 100 balls ever going to be successful.

He needs to get it up to mid-late 30s at a minimum eventually.

I pretty much said the same thing and got howled down by a few Vic supporters.

I reckon he's hurting the side on occasions.

Manenti actually looking threatening today, didn’t think I’d say that. Very good shout on Rogers just then too.
Manenti's bowling well, but I think it needs to be said some of the wickets have been more from poor batting than the balls themselves. Need to get Harper out, SA has a history of opposition keepers making life difficult for us with the bat.
