First half it was another instance where oppo teams play a slippery Gabba better than the Lions
Think we ended up with a spare at the back for much of the first half maybe due to Atkins tagging Neale. Second half were able to switch it round to a spare up forward and it seemed to help a bit with options

Zorko is simply damaging. Even his defensive efforts have improved, complimenting his attacking flair.

When both he and Coleman are in the side, it’s going to be very dangerous for the opposition as we will be able to work through their set ups with kick and carry.

Great win, but now need to stay focused for next week. Don’t want to do a Carlton.

Cameron must have nightmares about Ryan Lester. Loved McCluggage’s comment post match that Lester’s name is one of the first on the magnet board.
And rightly so.

What a great story Frog is

Ever reliable and consistent and getting even better like a fine wine.

Had to watch the second half on delay. Really hard not to check the scores. Amazing second half. So many contributors. Clug probably BOG in the second half but the 2 key backs probably the most consistent. Will Ashcroft awesome as well
Yep, Andrews and Lester were sensational and Payne was very good too.

Bruce is the ultimate impact player. I know he performed well enough to win a starting spot, but he's just so good when he comes on, he's a great boost in the middle of the game when we're trying to turn it around. That's why he's the best sub choice.
I'd been saying all game to this point that it looked like we forgot that Morris is actually on our team. He was in space or in a one-on-one so many times and we bypassed him to a 2-on-3 in the pocket. Bruce got a run and couple of bounces and that kick was spectacular. Straight to Morris 35m out practically on his own.

On a slightly different note, I thought Charlie looked short of a run tonight.

He had to bust his gut to get to diving mark in the third quarter(and maybe winded himself in the process)

His subsequent Round the Corner attempt on goal was an abomination but didn't totally surprise me.
He looked like he was really sucking in the big ones prior to the shot and was struggling to concentrate on the attempt

I'm expecting better output next week with that run under his belt

Just from watching on the ground, he seemed to have a good impact in our F50. Glad he got a goal and we heard Country Roads at the Gabba.
Good game for his first of the season.

I don't think that was a pace thing so much as where the kick was put and the wet ground. He looked fine imo for his first game of the season.

We are nowhere near our best at the moment and we're 3-0. Richmond next week, should be 4-0.

Scary.
He needs to spend a bit of time with Darcy Fort and Josh Dunkley next! Shocking misses 😬

We did win expected score pretty comprehensively 👇
