Incredible the huge transition such a combined Rich/Haw team would look like in just four or five years.Hawthorn/Richmond
B: Blake Hardwick, Tom Barrass, Jack Scrimshaw
HB: Karl Amon, Josh Battle, Nick Vlastuin
C: Massimo D'Ambrosio, Will Day, Josh Weddle
HF: Tim Taranto, James Sicily, Dylan Moore
F: Calsher Dear, Tom Lynch, Nick Watson
Foll: Toby Nankervis, James Worpel, Jai Newcombe
I/C: Jarman Impey, Connor Macdonald, Mabior Chol, Conor Nash
Flip of the coin with Meek/Nank. Not much else from the Tigers to compete for spots.
Mabs was our highest goal kicker in 2024, so deserves to saddle up on the bench.
This is Ben Keays erasure that I wont stand for, the argument could be made between Rioli or Rachele but think especially based on last seasons form Keays is ahead of both.Ok I’ll bite, because I’m bored too. And biased too.
I’ll try to be fair even though the exposed form of the Power squad (top 4 seasons galore lately) compared to the Crows squad (no finals since 2017) suggests a larger Port Adelaide representation
B: Max Michalanney, Nick Murray, Miles Bergman
HB: Mitch Hinge, Aliir Aliir, Isaac Cumming
C: Izak Rankine, Jason Horne-Francis, Kane Farrell
HF: Connor Rozee, Jack Lukosius, Josh Rachele
F: Mitch Georgiades, Riley Thilthorpe, Willie Rioli
Foll: Reilly O'Brien, Jordan Dawson, Zac Butters
I/C: Jake Soligo, Ollie Wines, Jase Burgoyne, Willem Drew
Power 12, Crows 10.
Fringe: Brandon Zerk-Thatcher, Darcy Byrne-Jones, James Peatling, Rory Laird
Hawthorn have a very good coach and drafted well the few years after missing finals.Incredible the huge transition such a combined Rich/Haw team would look like in just four or five years.
In 2020 there might've only been a handful of Hawks to make that 22. Sicily over McIntosh, Mitchell over Pickett, Breust over Castagna and probably Gunston over Graham.
13 of those Hawks in your above team SYL weren't even on your list in 2020.
Cause for optimism at Tigerland. Gives us hope.

Lynch and Lewis is a coin flip because both haven’t gotten on the park.Lynch for Lewis, Broad for Frost... but the others? Who comes out?
Prestia or Taranto for CJ ?
Yeah any single position could be seen either wayThis is Ben Keays erasure that I wont stand for, the argument could be made between Rioli or Rachele but think especially based on last seasons form Keays is ahead of both.
Rucks could go either way but honestly a lot of crows fans might say sweet is ahead of Obrien but that may be more due to our feelings towards ROB rather than Sweet lol
Lukosius is the other one doesnt feel right to me and think Walker or Fogarty depending on what you value more but I can see how you got there and the coming season could vindicate the choice.
Balta couldn’t even finish top 10 in your B&F.If you'd traded him in rather than Battle you'd be agreeing with me.
The fact that Ed Langdon and Brad Hill can fit in Both demons and saints best 22 says a lot.Saints-Demons
B- Wilkie May Rivers
HB- Sinclair lever Wanganeen Milera
C- Langdon Steele Hill
HF- Petracca Van Rooyen Pickett
FF- Fritsch King Higgins
R- Gawn Viney Oliver
B- Phillipou Marshall Howard Windsor
What a crap team.
Apologises if I’ve missed anybody
Young guns will go past them soon. The fact that Ed Langdon and Brad Hill can fit in Both demons and saints best 22 says a lot.
And yes I liked both blokes as they are former dockers players. Both blokes would be in freos best 23
I don't think you need 4 key forwards. The pockets/flanks are still surprisingly modest for a joint team. Here we go - one of the outstanding ones - and ignoring injuries
Eagles/Dockers
B: Ryan - Pearce - Hough
HB: Clark - McGovern - Baker
C: Hewett - Young - Brayshaw
HF: Bolton - Treacy - Switkowski
F: Ryan - Allen - Waterman
R: Darcy - Serong - Yeo
I: Cox - Kelly - Jackson - Amiss
I think Cox is a better player than Hough, but it would make the backline too tall. Kelly arguably only in on past reputation as I didn't think he had a good year last year. No place for Reid yet - he needs to back up a decent first season where he did well to finish 9th in the Eagles B&F.
I know - but I couldn't leave out Treacy and Amiss - or Allen and Waterman.I don't think you need 4 key forwards. The pockets/flanks are still surprisingly modest for a joint team.
I think you could roll with 3, but 4 is pushing it.I know - but I couldn't leave out Treacy and Amiss - or Allen and Waterman.
I have a genuine love of Switkowski, my favourite Docker of the last five years, but I'm not going to try to pretend he's up there with any of the four you've listed. Frederick has the potential, but he has to get more involved in the game - he has a great highlights reel but goes missing for huge chunks of games.I think you could roll with 3, but 4 is pushing it.
There's not really a Stengle, Moore, Papley, Pickett type to put in a pocket though so I get it.
