Yes alot of teams don't win off the bye. But not many teams get belted by the 100+ this will/should be. This is a pretty big cross on his resume. Didn't get the guys up at all.

Bring on the Interview process. Best candidate wins. Keep Rutten as backline coach all rest can go. Xavier Clarke especially. Was a midfielder as a player. Mind boggling why he's forwards coach. Obviously AFL subsidises Indigenous coaches but give him the Sars and get an actual forward who can coach to take over his role.

Tonight's game doesn't change anything from my stance on mini.

I've never been a fan of appointing caretaker coaches and it rarely works.

What Dimma did for us will probably never be repeated but the reality is, Mini will barely change anything because he's been part of the same system - and this system hasn't been great for the past 3 seasons.

All era's come to an end and we need to start a new era with new ideas. My fear is appointing Mini will be much of the same which has been stale since 2021.

Do people not realise the season has a lot to unfold we could lose majority of the remainder serving up dog sh1t like tonight and lose to North..... We were struggling against WCE at the G too

Truthfully ... I don't think Collingwod or Port would stop this Lions juggernaut tonight.
Sometimes everything just clicks and tonight is that night.
Their skills are off the charts. I've never seen a team be so precise in a game.
Nothing isn't working.

To be honest a few got head of themselves with our last 3 wins , against middle of the road sides gws , freo and saints tonight against quality opposition speaks volumes.

First real blemish and a pretty big one at that. Regardless of injuries and form, this was our biggest loss since 2016.

Geez this board makes me laugh sometimes. All of a sudden now people want to go through the process. That always was and should be the plan end of year.

Tonight's game doesn't significantly impact Mini any more than a good win does. It's the overall bigger picture that matters and the long term vision.

We were super flat and shit tonight, but every coach has these losses. Only if it becomes a habit that you have concerns.
