Amiss might be something but that's hopeful and ages away. I think Freo is years away from being proper good and there is no guarantees they get there.

Yep, it's the kind of forward line that maybe works if you've got a shit-hot midfield. Freo's is decent, but not good enough to carry that.

I was well on board this but tbf Frederick has gone miles clear of Petch and does good things week on week now.

Never saw him get a touch that wasn’t out the back until this year, but he’s been very good for them.

I was going to quote this one anyway because it’s a perfect assessment of where Freo are at, and they need to get an above average forwardline if they want to be serious in the coming years. I’m not ruling it out, but their lack of “just get it in there and one of them will create a goal” is wasting what is turning into a very good midfield.

But gee, things got a bit spicy towards the end and I couldnt resist.

We have a medium term problem coming up now and it’s very apparent tonight.
We cannot win a flag until amiss and Treacy are at 50 games. I’m certain of that.
But that requires pain in the short term. We will lose games that we could win by playing Tabs, Colyer, Schultz etc.
We have a top 4 defence, a decent midfield and a bottom 3 attack. When pressure comes on in finals and chances are at a premium, Schultz and Logue and Frederick kicking horrible behinds won’t do.
I would give anything to put someone like Jack darling
