Why do posters have to rate other teams before asking for advice on their own sides? I know its the polite thing to do, but some of these posters might not have enough knowledge to offer up anything decent when giving a review of someone elses team and would just talk crap, I would hate to have someone just talk crap about my side just so they could get their team rated.

Again, with TDL no guarantee to play early, you may want to spend a few more $$$ to get a bench player who is more likely to play R1. Remember, Franklin suspended & Delicious injured. Also, not convinced by Kennelly, Kreuzer and Polkinghorne.

Going for a couple of unique picks in Maxwell, S.Stevens and Shiels - figure you need to take some gambles on mid-priced players moving into keeper status. IMO Shiels has far more upside than defenders, other mids & forwards around the same price.
Unsure about my 5th, 6th, 7th backs - may mix it up a bit.
I really like the selection of stevens..looks to have a good dt role this year. Maxwell im not so sure on..
Sheils? i think he is slightly over priced atm. can't fault the rest of your team.

Your team's generally pretty good. The back-line's good, but you might want to think about downgrading Dempsey to a Maceski. Same goes for Mackie who you could downgrade to more consistent players.
Your Midfields all good, except maybe not have both Connors and Martin, get a Trengrove maybe?

Your forward-line might need some work. I'd trade tippett for maybe a Petterd, Bradshaw or even Barry Hall. Ballantyne and Dangerfield both could potentially not play so make sure your reserves do play.

Not sure about Nic Nat after Cox comes back. Could be a big impact on his scores. Is Rockliff going to be certain to start for the Lions?? Pavlich is a concern for me. If he goes back to the forward line and Freo do poorly he might bottom out on some scores.

Drummond was so 2009. Seriously, though, he is an interesting pick. In an improving Brisbane side he should improve, but injuries and copping the tag worry me too much. I think there are better picks than Mattner.
Not a fan of starting a rookie in the FWD line. IMO, there aren't a lot of options down there and by starting one, it means you need to find 3 who can play regularly, I'm struggling for 2.
Very strong midfield and plenty of captains to choose from. 3 1st year players in the midfield is very risky, but could be high reward. Not much cover on your bench and your FWDs aren't exactly durable.
Cheers guys, Firstly im aware of the cox factor with Nic Nat but im looking at is as a cash cow thing! he only averaged 50 and im pretty confident he will average more than that in the first half of the year then i can trade him for a jolly etc.....
Alpha i agree on Pav and Rockliff, im going basically off pre-season form and that indicates Rockliff will play early as it seems Voss rates him! so im happy to take a chance with him, cheers though
Sante, with Drummond it was between him and Harbrow and i think Drummond is a safer bet and in regards to Mattner, i too am skepticle but he seems to pull in big numbers some how and for that price it was between him and Hurn and same with the drummond/harbrow situation i think mattner is a more consistant player than Hurn who i had last year.
