Yeah, we were full on committed to what we were doing. We weren't being distracted from the point of our experience by something we held our hand. Our hand was for holding a full strength beer etc.

What's that old son?

Freo chant busting out multiple times when we were down?
I know I've said this before, but I'm bored of every game game crowd going freeeeeoh wessssstcoooast, collingwooood. Every crowd sounds the same, either booing, groaning or sounding the chant. Kevin Parker gave us the perfect chant. An original chant. A chant that no other team could replicate because copyright.

Its the first two words. It's so up and energetic, that it makes the chant everyone else is doing sound like a dirge, a real drag.

Here it is. They play it half time. If your not getting another lame beer or having a *** outside , singalong with it and learn it. Start something happening.

I would love for everyone to start belting this out with the emphasis on LETS GO!

Good luck coordinating that though, AFL crowds are like libraries these days.

Can't wait to go watch St Pauli again in September, now that's an atmosphere.

Real good? Lol, god he's protected on here. Make him come back via Peel and actually earn his games
He is showing a hell of a lot over the past 6 weeks, coming along quite nicely, can really stand up in traffic, when he masters the first give vs taking someone on then we will be licking our lips.

There's always going to be supporters that sweat on a young players mistakes and never notice any of the good stuff. He often frees up players with handball after not giving the first. We have too many little inside handballs. It breaks down under pressure.

Exciting forward line if Sturt isn't sub

I believe the club when they say Johnno was managed, has been looking real good recently, just gotta cut out a few more brain fades a game
Maybe the new interpretation of holding the ball has been a factor in Johhno having a bit of time out. Not a good option to fend off this week I think!

The guy is a natural inside mid who put on several kilos of muscle over the offseason and...we try and make him a winger. Probably no surprise his development appeared to have stalled and also no surprise he's looked infinitely better once played on the ball. honestly we just need to wait until Fyfe is gone before he can finally get serious midfield minutes and show his chops. until then his true ceiling is impossible to discern.

I agree. A few weeks back in an after game interview Johnson said that the coaches were encouraging him to take on the opposition and use his size and pace. You don’t then drop him because he is taking a little time learning what you asked!

Last week fairly late in game we saw MJ grab his calf and soon after trainers were looking at it. We thought he might have to go off. I'd say 'managed' is probably accurate.

At Thursday main training, Johnson didn’t join in with the main group and was doing some running on the other side of the oval with a trainer

Trouble is he isn't that big and strong in AFL terms. He is overdoing it big time.

Nah, he's shown very little, I'm just not bias. Questionable decision making, average execution, but he's from WA, so we ignore all that on this board. Cough Liam Henry cough

I love tame, I didn't like this song.

Until you showed me the light.
It's made for a stadia chant 👍
Let's go

Not like Liam in the slightest. All Johnson needs is the balance between fending off and taking the first option. Once he figures that out he will look very good. You'd have to be blind to say he hasn't shown anything.

He isn't there yet. So what is the point. Fyfe is a big guy too, but he struggles to fend off many AFL tacklers. We are trying to win games and get back into the finals. Not indulging Johnson's he man fantasies.
Learning the techniques?
