"it doesn't have a history in this league" - as long as we're in this league, then it does. It's attached to our club's history.
Its attached to the Magpies but not really the power it's not attached to your AFL identity only something that is slowly going away

Im in full support of the PB's just not as a full-time kit, theres a better kit the power can wear while the PB's are used for more special occasions like vs crom or Aniversrys just adds more to the kit, and by what I mean that the identity slipping away is when port move to AFL reserves they might not be the pies with the PB's which then means the magpies team is gone which sucks, I hope they are more chill in the ressies comp and port can go by magpies with the PB's

The magpies nick is all but dead in the SANFL & I couldn't care less, we haven't worn magpie logos for a few years now at that level.

simple if you want to wear the PBs full time you have to add teal that is the compromise, if you don't wear it full time black and white is just fine, too stubborn to understand
We don't want to wear it full time. That has never been the intention.

yes on occasion but not full time that's my point you can't wear black and white PB's full time
Who said we were wearing it full time? You're the only person making that suggestion!

So far all we we've wanted is heritage rounds / reasons, or Showdowns. That doesn't equate to "full time". It equates to one or two matches a season if we're lucky and it's always been home games vs anyone but Collingwood!!!

Unsure thought someone did

Lucky it's the same club then, hey?
Different identity and branding really the power having nothing to do with it besides coming from that club, don't get me wrong it is a good kit and represents a legacy but has nothing to do with the power and their time in the AFL, would be cool to see them win an AFL premiership in it

from this idea I agree adds to the legacy of the kit wearing vs crows or special occasions

It's. The. Same. Club.

i have to laugh whenever people opposed to the bars whinge about how it's too similar design/same colours/blah blah blah considering West Ham, Aston Villa and Burnley (or 2 of the 3) have literally worn the exact same kit and colours in the EPL and no one has ever batted an eyelid
