These are players that haven’t even played a game yet.Well that's the best possible outcome.
But Allan is a much worse Ginbey, and Gross is a much worse Long if used that way.
I don’t think you watched very closely if all you can describe him as; is a “ back pocket “Better yet I've seen him play so I've seen all of what he does not just the good bits.
Perryman is on 900k at Collingwood. Baker is better than Perryman
Maybe provide a source for Houston or Smith, I dont believe Houston is on such little pay
7-12? Do you mean wins? Thatd be great.Guilty,
But it is more likely that we amble around 7-12 for the next 3 years and they play more games than they deserve and ultimately get chopped.
Not when Baker ages out and the others all flop. 5 years none will be on the list.
I'm sure he can play lots of roles , midfield and forward too but mini has him playing as a defender but probably not a rebound defender with his skills.I don’t think you watched very closely if all you can describe him as; is a “ back pocket “
I would have taken perryman .Perryman is on 900k at Collingwood. Baker is better than Perryman

Our defence wouldn't need to be bolstered if we had a decent midfieldGiven our ladder position, win/loss ratio and percentage.... I would argue we need good defenders... Baker played his best football in defence
His source for Baker's salary is taking 2 + 2 = 5, there's no way he's got any sources, except maybe HP, which is the promite of sauces.
Can the melts over splitting pick 3 and picking Allan get moved into a 2024 trade/draft period retrospective thread?
People are upset over an arbitrary number that could've netted us a completely unproven kid over 3x proven senior players, at an age profile our list desperately needs, as well as an unproven kid taken 11 spots later(disregarding FS/Academy picks), when we could've given up pick 14 we got for Barrass for him instead.I just don't understand why people are melting?
There's a solid argument that WC won the trade/draft period as a whole.
Are people still melting that we lost 3 games in a row post bye in 2018 on the way to winning the premiership?
Agree somewhat RE expectation, but after watching him train a few weeks back and watching his small sample size last year I would be surprised if he didn’t make the grade.People hanging their hopes on Hutchs 1 good game v Cats last year as being his usual output should remember Luke Edwards game v Richmond and how he went after that
We seem to have a type
I wish Hutch all the best but hope we don't expect the world.

Agree the WC media team is not the best in the biz. But what do you really expect from them? This off season is dragging and the amount of media content from the WC media team seems to decrease year on year to the point where all the content is just tik tok reels zoomed in on players sweaty faces while they drink water...
Has there been any press conferences with Woosha and Mini? I'm surprised give the 50 back pages of the West Harley got last year, Mini would be getting a fair bit of attention being the new coach...

Has that real dog in him, hunts the player with the ball and tackles with intent. Naturally finds the ball, is athletically gifted.
Skills and at time decision making are potentially his biggest flaw, and hopefully that will improve as he gets more comfortable.
TBH I was a big fan of the player highlights packages they used to put together for players at the end of the season.Agree the WC media team is not the best in the biz. But what do you really expect from them?
This is McQualters 1st year, no doubt behind the doors there are some major tactical/structural plans being developed that they do not want anyone privvy to.
What insight is an interview with McQualter or Woosha going to provide? It'll be the usual nothing talking checkpoints.
Should also see natural growth courtesy of an AFL preseason and more time in our system with more leaders and pieces around him. He's not going to be Bont or Cripps but big body and good leap/mark is a good starting point. Something to work with.Agree somewhat RE expectation, but after watching him train a few weeks back and watching his small sample size last year I would be surprised if he didn’t make the grade.

Jeez what a positive post. The only like you received coming from Random, who unsurprisingly supports your negativity.People hanging their hopes on Hutchs 1 good game v Cats last year as being his usual output should remember Luke Edwards game v Richmond and how he went after that

If you get down to training and look at Hutchinson, who is in the process of completing his 1st preseason, you’ll see he is noticeably bigger, fitter, and has some very good skills.
Honestly why not be optimistic about Hutchinson, could be another string to our midfield bow.
