And strange the wedding is in Syd when Adam’s family is from Geelong and Ellie’s from Daylesford

Family members (or at least the ones you actually want there) would likely travel to the moon to be at your wedding

I guess as well since he was talking to Sydney while the premiership campaign was still going, he had a good intention he to be in Sydney. Probably a lot easier planning wise to have a wedding in the state you live with all the commitments you need to do in the lead up

Reef has another excellent session. They like the ball in his hands where he can use his pace to run

Agree that his pace should be a weapon. Just needs to get used to using it. When he first switched to defence he was a bit tentative (take possession and stop and survey options)
Hopefully through pre season he can develop confidence to attack the game and use his speed

I know we're all just doing a "look who's burning up the track" at this time of year, but Reef with a clean spoil on Mason Cox, gather of the ball, and then multiple give and go handballs as he runs up the field, is maybe the most natural I've ever seen him look as a footballer.

From memory Reef played his draft year in defence at the chargers and was pushed forward in the representative game where he kicked goals. Don't care where he plays, coaches need to pull their socks up and get it sorted....too talented!

I'm trying to keep a lid on Reef because I got too excited about him last season, but gee it’s good to hear these things about him.

His draft year was covid, so he didn't play any role. In his underage year he played a combination of defence and forward.

Bottom age year, there was no footy in his draft year. He played defence and a little forward, but stood out the most when he was thrown in the middle when the top agers went to play for vic metro.

Hearing JDG’s groin issues still aren’t resolved. Likely to miss a chunk of preseason which leaves us in a really bad spot. He’s key to us winning a flag, particularly with this all out strategy of not having any draft picks or elite youth coming through. Gross negligence from the club trading out picks when they knew his availability was going to be unknown. Again, we should’ve held our ground with the second rounder from Hawthorn. We’d have had Jack Whitlock. Amateur hour down there at the moment!

Of course we all want JDG back to his best, but what the hell does that have to do with a second-round pick from Hawthorn? Fill in the blanks for me, I am intrigued

How would Jack Whitlock help replace an injured Jordan DeGoey? Nice illogical rant.
