Readers added context gets it correct. AP is a woke organisation.
"A car has driven" implies the car drove itself, which is factually incorrect. A man from Saudi Arabia intentionally drove the car into the Christmas market as a terror attack.
People wonder why they are so desperate to censor the internet/media. They don't want people to read about the horrendous repercussion of their deranged ideologies. The damage they have inflicted on the west can never be fixed, or at least not without a complete 180 in the way they think. By their very nature cults are incapable of self-correcting.
