South Korea parliament just voted to lift martial law.

Visiting in South Korea in the late '80's and being on seeing the edges of a couple of riots, getting a whiff or two of tear gas, watching molitov cocktails splashing flame and watching their riot troops double timing it across the cobble stones of Gangnam district in Seoul I would suggest that South Koreans put all the pressure they could on the President

One thing about being taller than the average (then) Korean.I could watch the street theatre from relative safety just by craning my neck

They made the covid or Middle East demonstrations in Australia look like a Church procession during Christmas

I'm reminded of this from the late PJ in Holidays in Hell.
"They don't like anyone who isn't Korean, and they don't like each other all that much either. They're hardheaded, hard-drinking, tough little bastards, "the Irish of Asia""

If the Republicans are so good at the economy, why are most Republican lead states poor?
Pretty sure Joe and Kamala are running the show at the moment.
Disappointing as they sleepwalk into 'regional
wars'.

Angola is very happy.China and Russia not so much.
Trump isn't in office yet, most likely sharpening up his golf game in Florida.
Got to love Angola's flag, staunch as.

I knew I had contempt for your posting for good reason, here is the perfect example of why my contempt is valid!

Pete Hegseth reportedly canceled his Thursday meetings on Capitol Hill with GOP senators to fly down to Florida to meet President-elect Donald Trump, amid growing doubts over his ability to be confirmed as Trump’s nominee to lead the Pentagon.

On Wednesday, Hegseth canceled his meeting with Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), and his camp told Punchbowl News that the meeting “was moved due to the dynamic nature of scheduling meetings with every single GOP senator.”

Faux boy gawn ? ,not sure moms appearance saves him

It’s being reported that the FBI, the agency that Kash Patel has been nominated to take over(dismantle, destroy)by the orange turnip, has warned glass eyed Patel that he has been hacked by Iranian intelligence.
You can’t make the shite up!🤦‍♀️

Shocked another billionaire
Donald Trump has nominated Jared Isaacman, a billionaire online payments entrepreneur and the first private astronaut to conduct a space walk, as the next head of NASA.

The nod raises questions about potential conflicts of interest, given Isaacman’s financial ties to SpaceX chief Elon Musk, who is set to co-chair a government efficiency commission and is one of Mr Trump’s closest advisers.

President-elect Donald J. Trump named Kelly Loeffler, a former senator from Georgia, as his choice to lead the Small Business Administration. Loeffler was appointed to her Senate seat by Gov. Brian Kemp of Georgia in 2019 when her predecessor resigned for health reasons. She lost her re-election campaign during the 2020 cycle to Rev. Raphael Warnock, allowing Democrats to gain control of the upper chamber. During that campaign, she touted her voting record that mirrored then-President Trump’s agenda. Loeffler donated nearly $4 million to Republicans this election cycle, including roughly $2.5 million to Trump’s campaign.

Shocked Episode 1 GIF by America's Got Talent

President-elect Donald J. Trump said he wants Billy Long, a former congressman from Missouri, to be the next commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service. Long was a professional auctioneer and a real estate agent for three decades before joining Congress in 2011, serving six terms until 2023. In September 2018, Long showed off his auctioneer skills during a House committee hearing to drown out a far-right heckler among the audience, Laura Loomer.
