Based on your prior history, I doubt your ability to keep promises on BigFooty.

Lyon better like swimming because he is captaining a sinking ship
I suspect he prefers the alternative, especially budding ones.

And to think Tom Cole was considered marginal best 22 and behind Jackson Nelson not that long ago. Barrass also probably felt he would forever be third in the pecking order behind Mackenzie and Sheppard. Things can change very quickly in less than a season.

Glad to see two of our youngest defenders (and of course premiership players) commit long term.
Only by those of questionable intelligence

We need to draft without anticipating securing Kelly next year, a lot can happen in 12 months.
He might get the 2nd Season Blues and be crap or fall in Love with Geelong.
If he does come it's a great bonus.
GET genuine inside and outside midfielders, a lot of talk here is about small forwards we don't need 14 indigenous forward pockets,
the boys we have there currently are fine and doing a great job, balance is required.

Don't even want Hill, regardless of whether he ends up being available or not.

Not a bad player at all for junior footy, but i struggle to see his role other than a small forward in the AFL. Something we have a few of now.

A pure midfielder capable of playing at the next level on the other hand..

Dont want Hill at all, not suited to us dont see where he plays

Imagine Hill on a wing getting 20 possesions instead of Masten.

He actually can apply tackling pressure, is super fast and the hurt factor is 10 fold that Masten has.

At pick 20 which will slide to 23/24 its a no brainer IMO.

Then grab a bigger inside mid two picks later in Valente, O'Halloran or Ely Smith.

This GWS wikl draft Hill at 19. They need a small hffer with pace and x factor.

Adelaide a good chance at 21 if thise SA boys are gone.

Well it's only been five weeks since the Grand Final but I suppose the 'drop Masten' crew have found it safe to re-emerge from hibernation.

Don't see how we have to pick up kids with 20 and 22. Wouldn't be opposed to a mature age talent for an immediate boost to our premiership defence (still feels weird saying that, btw), with Kelly following next year.

Any standout mature age talent in the WAFL or otherwise?

I dont have an issue picking mature agers with 20 and 22 if they justify going that low.

But I dont know of any who do.
