Exactly. 3/4 time of the GF would of been betterAbsolutely bizarre timing...
To be fair they did it pretty well with Roos to Longmire.Sounds like a coach succession plan with the former coach staying on at the club. They work well from what I can remember.
How could he resign at the GF when he and the players didn't even bother turning up?Exactly. 3/4 time of the GF would of been better
Yeah it's not ideal timing. Although it seems like they might have been planning this for a while considering Longmire is staying at the club. Giving the role to Cox who is already there will definitely make the transition smoother. In all seriousness though, why wouldn't you pull the pin earlier and let the incoming coach choose his support staff and head to the draft with his own ideas?
Maybe they all knew internally, but just announcing it publicly today? In all seriousness though, why wouldn't you pull the pin earlier and let the incoming coach choose his support staff and head to the draft with his own ideas?

Miserable bastard probably wanted to get paid at Senior Coach rates whilst he was on holidays.Their season only finished 7 weeks ago. You'd want him to be all in until then. Who knows how it went down - but 7 weeks to decide seems fine to me.
