Boards are there to make and deliver high level strategy. They should have no say in operational decisionsDoes the Board at the company you work for consult you and ask for your permission before it executes on decisions it makes? If you walked into a Board meeting and told them all your grievances do you think they would reverse any policies or decisions to appease you? What do you think the shareholders would think if they found out the Board was allowing itself to be over ruled by mid level employees and was changing company policy to pander to their petty self interested grievances? This is not the way that high performing companies run their show. The players whingeing need to be very firmly put in their place and told they are paid to play football and have no input on Board decisions.
