Totally disagree, I think once you start viewing a match as a win, is where complacency comes in. viewing it as a should win is different (not sure if thats what you meant), and realising to do that requires hunger and respect for the opposition. Who can keep with up with Richo in pace, height and strength? Our midfield is far superior, and we should win comfortably, but...

Totally agree.Last year the Cows went into the richmond match riding a hot streak, while the tigers coming fresh from a 100 point belting, and we all know what happened.

Any time you are at the pointy end of the ladder and your opposition is in the cellar, it's a danger game. Hopefully our 'ugly win' against a bottom side last week served as a bit of a wake up call. Dropping this game would be embarrassing.

We should get the 4 pts from this game.

They wont have Simmonds, Schulz and Tambling who are all out injured and Hall has been suspended by the club for 3 weeks because of an altercation outside a bar Friday night.

Power to win.

we should get the 4pts for this game IFF theplayers dont run out on to the ground with the attitude that the game is allready won POWER to win by heaps.:D :D :D

Although i'm fairly certain your blokes will win you do get the feeling that a 10 buck bet on the Tiges this week could net a nice return.

You guys will be way too good for us. I just hope we give you a contest and not the disgusting performance that we dished up last night.

Footy Park is harder to score goals at than TD.
Also the caning Richmond are currently copping, they will come fired up, desperate. tight etc
I can see us winning by a maximum of 5 goals.
We need to get our kicking for goal sorted, we are wasting opportunities to blow sides away and it nearly cost us the game on Sunday.

Port Adelaide 1.11Richmond 6.50
There is no point even betting on Port for this game but i wouldnt mind $5 on Richmond i think its worth the odds

Wait for the line odds, it will probably be richmond +33 @$1.90 or something like that which will be a good almost double or nothing bet.

For games like this I usually whack 10 or 20 bucks on the opposition. I call it an insurance bet.

If we dont win by atleast 10 goals, I will be majorly pissed. They got absolutely man slaughtered by Geelong, and lost 3 key players (Schulz, Tambling and Simmonds) in the process.

With Simmonds out, you'd have to do something seriously wrong (or we'd have to do something seriously right) for you to lose.

$6.50 or whatever is about right for the Tigers. Not much chance at all.

Wouldnt mind putting a few bucks on the Tiges. Im disapointed i wont be making the trip to AAMI this year. I went last year when we beat your mob by 7 goals. Was my first trip to AAMI and i loved it. Good to see what an interstate supporters base is like. And i like the country feel the ground has plus Adelaide is a nice place to visit. I made my way for a holiday a few months ago and had a great time.

I agree with the poster that said 10 bucks on the Tiges. You would make at least 60 if it hapened I would think.

As for what the odds, port would be less than 1.08 to win I would think....we were 1.08 v Essendon in round 1, and look what happened. :( Port should be about 1.05, if not less. Near certainties...which will be bad for us next week if they win, coz they Tiges will be hungy for a win. Do everyone a favour and lose this week please!!!! ;)

Port are 1.12 to win this weekend - I think we'll hear of a few big bets on that by people. Even if you had $10K on that, you'd only end up with a measly $1K profit.

I think the Tigers will put up more of a fight but still lose by 30-40 points.

And from memory that Adelaide v Essendon game early in the year had the Crows around 1.30-1.40, nowhere near 1.08

At Sportsbet at the ground, it was 1.08. I walk past it to get to my seat. :)

The line bet has just been released, Richmond +39.5 points at $1.90. I will certainly do something at the TAB about this one and hope that the tigers give a yelp.
