I haven't listened to Triple J since about 2007. They had two dickheads from Frenzel Rhomb hosting the Breakfast show and one of the losers came out with the statement "no song worth listening too has the Saxophone in it" or something to that effect, and I thought WOW! music has passed me by and flicked over to ABC News Radio and have been waking up to it ever since.
Models were never the same when James Valentine joined.

Although I could handle Joe Camilleri's bands and Men at Work so I'm conflicted.

Absolute stupidity from the AFL by not moving game to last night
Agreed. They had all week to check the forecast for the weekend and reschedule the game to Friday night or Sunday afternoon. That also would have been ample time for the caterers to get organised.

Looking forward to the game, first time at Ikon Park. Any shade? 😅 Also where's the easiest place to park? 🦘

Legend! Thanks

So we play in the hottest part of the day and the other PF at night? I think the problem was the AFL did know what the forecast was.

The girls will probably lose a ton of weight and find it hard to recover for next week.

AFL Victoria different from plain old AFL though.

Policy for AFLW matches concerns wet bulb temperature--I think it has to reach 28, which is unlikely.
Yep, just read the article about this.

Seems to be setting a dangerously high bar as in theory a game played in very high temperatures (40-46 deg) but with low humidity(23-33%) would be considered ‘safe’ by this policy.

Who is liable if , god forbid, one or more girl's suffer heatstroke ?
I'd imagine the afl would be liable given they're the governing body. Especially if they didn't enact all or part of the policy.

Models remain my favourite Aussie band from the 80's, I still like and listen to their albums, even their final two with James Valentine. I don't think they released a poor album, but their first two with Mark Ferrie on Bass are the two I listen to the most.

As for Camilleri, I never really liked him, although I didn't mind the Black Sorrows for a period when Vika and Linda Bull joined the group. Men At Work are not a favourite either.

What’s game law 10.6.2 ?

Do we go through to the gf as top team
Maybe I'd this game can't be played the match between the commentators favourites, Brisbane and Adelaide will be considered as the grand final and the winner of that match will be deemed the premier.

I think Kelli Underwood would be lobbying for that outcome as we speak.
