Non Vic clubs have beaten a Vic Club only once

I agree, the Vic's are dominating, something must be done! I know! We will make it easier for the non-Vic clubs. So what can we do? Firstly why not let all the non-vic clubs play 17 or even 18 games at home? Plus we could make sure all the non-vic clubs get to play the bottom 6 in the first 6 rounds. Or even better maybe we should tell them to tank games so they can pick up 4-5 #1 picks in the drafts. Or the best idea yet, when ever a Vic team looks like it is doing well we can cry and whinge so the rules are changed - salary cap, drafting, etc thereby preventing, or at worst limiting, it's success.

Funny how the Victorian franchises complain about any perceived advantage to non-vic Clubs but are quite happy to have the comp weighted in their favour year after year and yet still struggle to take advantage of it (with the exception of the Cats last year and the Bombres in 2000)

When we have the two new teams, the AFL will probably introduce a 17-round fixture where everyone plays each other once. The only inequity will be the number of home games in a season; some clubs will have 8 and some will have 9.

So we won't have the oddities of the current draw in a few years.
