LDU putting contract talks on hold because he wants to see on field improvement. Not saying that puts us in the box seat for anything, but if on field success is the barometer he's using that does not bode well for North.
At least that rules out Essendon and Stkilda.

Collingwood Hawthorn and Geelong will be fighting amongst themselves for his services

I would be very surprised if he stays at North next season.

Odds are he ends up a big Victorian club on a very lucrative deal... & North get their 1st rounder back.

He has played enough at the bottom of the ladder that he has probably switched his mindset to chasing a paycheck first and success will be just a bonus.

He will get good money wherever he goes...

GEEL has been muted to be LDU's potential home for a while now .....will depend very much on how NORTH's 2025 season unfolds

This would not surprise me at all.

If he wants success last place he should go.

I dont know now. I know St Kilda have the culture of a public toilet but they have built a half reasonable list. Personally I think both teams would be dumb decisions for success. Geelong look destined to start a free fall. If he was smart hed look for a team thats showing potential like a Hawthorn or even Adelaide that maybe willing to come within the ball park of his asking price.

Every off season there are always some foolish people with this prediction

I predicted this a couple of years ago ....predicted GEEL missing the finals

However they have drafted / traded very well ....Smith's a huge get ...Bruhn is maturing nicely and should have a breakout year .....Humphries, Dempsey, and Mannagh, they hit gold there

This is what the taking the legs rule was all about ....yet another rule where the original intent has morphed into a bloody mess of **** decision making by Umps

Does LDU have a cotton on deal...

Despite earning a base salary of $140,000 at genU, Nguyen showered associates with lavish gifts, including overseas holidays, domestic flights, sporting memorabilia and tickets to major events, according to court documents.

A surveillance report included in court documents also revealed Nguyen “attending Kardinia Park (Geelong Football Club) soon after the grand final (2022) and attending a meeting with a recently retired Geelong player”.
